How do you harvest willow effectively?

Willow is a very fast growing plant capable of growing up to 8 – 10 meters in three years. The same plants can be harvested three times with three years in between, and the willow is used for green fuel. It is, however, not easy to harvest the tall plants and the challenge for us were to invent a machine that efficiently and cost-effectively could harvest the willow. Our development engineers invented the harvester, Stemster, that today works with success in Denmark, Ireland and France.
