Making a difference onboard Island Patriot

StimWell Services was converting the vessel Island Patriot turning it into a well stimulation vessel and getting it ready for service at oil and gas fields in the North Sea. Towards the end of the project, extra hands were needed onboard and StimWell Services decided to rent a Hytek engineer for a month. The engineer optimized the hydraulic systems implementing a number of significant improvements – and in several cases coming up with cheaper solutions than expected. The customer was pleased with the result and decided to cooperate with Hytek again on the next ship conversion project.
